The famed fossil deposits at La Brea aren't the only place to find amazing Ice Age fossils - they're all around us! But they're underground, buried, and hidden from view - until deep excavation exposes these priceless remains to light once again. Join us as Eric Scott of Cogstone Resource Management shares some of the newest fossil discoveries from L.A. Metro's Purple Line Extension construction. We will discuss the mammoth in the metro, dodging bulldozers, and the classroom-to-career connections in paleontology happening in our own backyards!

This free workshop is open to educators PreK-12.
