Annual Educator Open House
Saturday, September 9, 2017 | 8:30 am - 12 pm

Kick off your school year at the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum! Enjoy a light breakfast, learn how to book a field trip, enter to win some Ice Age resources for your classroom, then explore the Museum on your own, watch a performance, or join us for a tour of the La Brea Tar Pits. End your morning with a preview of our guided school programs and see what the Tar Pits can offer your students!

Planning on bringing your family? Family members are welcome to purchase tickets to the Museum when we open at 9:30 am. They can explore the Tar Pits and Museum all morning, and then join up with you after you're done at 12 pm.
