Welcome Homeschoolers to La Brea Tar Pits for a day filled with activities, learning resources and special programs! This event is free and exclusive to homeschoolers and their families, so you won't be sharing the museum with traditional school groups. This fall season focuses on Taphonomy, the study of how organisms become fossilized or preserved. Enjoy hands-on activities, conversations with museum professionals, and more!
This year, pre-registration for a timed-ticket entry is required. Tickets will not be available at the door.
