DJ'S FOR August COURTESY OF LADIES OF SOUND / 5PM-8PM
TiffStarrr (5pm-6pm) DJ TiffStarr is B-girl turned DJ; wife and mother of two who never skips a beat. She launched her DJ career in 2014 after finishing scratch DJ academy in NYC and has been rocking the turntables ever since. Now underlining the interest of women within Hip Hop culture, she is the co-host and DJ of Meetings In the Ladies Room, and her own live stream on Twitch where she provides music for your ears up to four days a week.
XSam (6pm-7pm) DJ XSam is a prodigy of the Beat Junkie Institute of Sound, having been trained since she was only 8 years old. Now a multi-talented 14 year old, playing both the piano and turntables, XSam is a force in this next generation of exceptional talent!
Dr. Samson (7pm-8pm) Sherille, aka Dr Samson is an alumni of the Beat Junkie Institute of Sound. Her passion in music stems from childhood. Growing up in the 90’s and watching fellow friends DJ, she was finally given the opportunity to live out her dream of DJing. She is enthusiastic about the growing group of men and women that BJIOS has created and is proud to be a part of such a caring and supportive community.
