Ice Age Illustration!
Wednesdays: August 30, September 6 and 13
Grab a pencil and transport back 40,000 years to a time when saber-toothed cats and mammoths roamed L.A.! In this drawing workshop series you will get an up-close look at specimens from the La Brea Tar Pits Museum's collections and learn how to illustrate Ice Age creatures like sloths, mastodons, and short-faced bears in a friendly, supportive environment. While carefully observing specimens you will learn to break down complex structures into simple, easy-to-draw shapes. All drawing supplies will be provided, and all skill levels are welcome.
To register please check back with us at the end of July or call us at 213.763.3499.
Cost for 3-week series Members: $40 | Nonmembers: $45
