John Harris
Curator Emeritus, Rancho La Brea
Dr. Harris is a Curator Emeritus at Rancho La Brea. He studied geology at the Universities of Leicester, Texas, and Bristol before becoming Director of Paleontology at the National Museums of Kenya in 1971. In 1980 he joined the staff at the Natural History Museum as Chief Curator of the Division of Earth Sciences and after 35 years he retired in 2015.
