On Wednesday, May 13, the parking lot at Curson Ave and 6th Street will close for entry at 3:30 pm. Any cars at the lot after 5 pm will be towed. The museum and Tar Pits will remain open during our regular hours, 9:30 am to 5 pm

Our Assistant Conservator helps the Three Graces stay beautiful

A towering portrait of Art, Science, and History, the Three Graces statue may have caught your eye while visiting #NHMLA​'s Haaga Family Rotunda. However, such beauty requires care and upkeep. Marina Gibbons, Museum Assistant Conservator, shares her regimen.

The sweeping stained-glass dome was created by Walter Horace Judson, standing beside the inspiring Three Graces statue by Julia Bracken Wendt, one of Los Angeles’ first prominent sculptors. Learn more: http://bit.ly/NHMLARotunda
