On Wednesday, May 13, the parking lot at Curson Ave and 6th Street will close for entry at 3:30 pm. Any cars at the lot after 5 pm will be towed. The museum and Tar Pits will remain open during our regular hours, 9:30 am to 5 pm

Get ready to love bugs like you never have before with NHMLAC's one and only bug band, the Love Bugzzz. 

The Luv Bugzzz met in Los Angeles, in a neighborhood perhaps like yours. Someone had left their garage door open and the bugzzz wandered inside in search of crumbs. One started buzzing a catchy tune, the others joined in, and before you could say “chirp” the band was born. Originally a small local infestation, the Luv Bugzzz now play regularly for huge swarms in exchange for nectar and glory.
