On Wednesday, May 13, the parking lot at Curson Ave and 6th Street will close for entry at 3:30 pm. Any cars at the lot after 5 pm will be towed. The museum and Tar Pits will remain open during our regular hours, 9:30 am to 5 pm

NHM houses more than 35 million specimens and artifacts, and each one helps tell the story of what's happening in our natural and cultural world beyond its walls. You can help tell that story by contributing to one of our Community Science programs.
